2024 Daktronics NAIA Men's and Women’s Track & Field Scholar-Athletes
The NAIA released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Men's and Women's Track & Field Scholar-Athletes. In all, 2,076 student-athletes across the nation were recognized; 873 men and 1,203 women achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average at their institution. To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution. The California Pacific Conference had a total of 32 student-athletes earned a spot on the postseason list. There were 14 men recognized: five from both Embry-Riddle and Soka, three from UC Merced, and one from Park-Gilbert. Of the 18 women recognized, there were five were from both Soka and UC Merced, and four from both Embry-Riddle and Park-Gilbert.
For the men, Milligan (Tenn.) had the highest number of honorees with 26 and was followed by Dordt (Iowa) with 21 honorees of its own. The Concordia (Neb.) women's team had the highest number of honorees with 39 and was followed by Dordt (Iowa) with 35 honorees of its own.
