2023 Daktronics NAIA Track & Field Scholar-Athletes

The NAIA released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Men's Women's Track & Field Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday, and 35 California Pacific Conference student-athletes from five conference programs earned a spot on the list.  At the top of the list is UC Merced, which had 11 student-athletes earn distinction, followed by Embry-Riddle (10), Soka (9), Park-Gilbert (3), and Westcliff (2).

The 2023 lists feature 805 male and 1076 female student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.

On the men's list, Concordia (Neb.) had the highest number of honorees with 23 and was followed by Saint Mary (Kan.) with 20 honorees of its own, and among the women's honorees, Concordia (Neb.) had the highest number of honorees with 37 and was followed by Dordt (Iowa) with 32 honorees of its own.
