Men's Soccer All-Cal Pac Team

Top-seeded and 18th ranked Embry-Riddle placed a whopping seven players on the All-California Pacific Conference men's soccer first team, and north winner Menlo and ERAU each took two of the four individual awards on the 2012 honor lists.

ERAU (12-2-3 overall), in its first year in the Cal Pac, clearly impressed the league's coaches with its depth of talent. Forwards Fabio Pena (14 goals) and Jacob Brech (12 goals), midfielders Isaac Sanchez (12 goals, 19 assists) and Thiago Xavier (6 assists), defenders Keldon Hatch and Ryan Holt, and goalkeeper Joan San Marti (1.00 GAA, 0.49 GAA in Cal Pac) all made the first-team list.

Menlo junior Andrew Cota is the league's player of the year after pumping in a conference-high 19 goals. Teammate Eric Angell is the defender of the year.

ERAU's Jacob Brech is the newcomer of the year, with Sanchez the freshman of the year, ranking #2 nationally in assists and #13 nationally in total points.

Eagle head coach Matt Barnes was chosen by his peers as the 2012 men's soccer coach of the year.
