2025 Baseball All-Conference Team

Simpson's dominance during the California Pacific Conference regular season was reflected in the postseason polling of conference coaches when compiling the 2025 All-Cal Pac Baseball Team.  The Red Hawks, who captured their first conference championship, had six players voted to the All-Cal Pac squad as well as four of the seven individual awards.

With all of SU's success on the field, it was Westcliff's Patrick Morgan who stood out among the rest.  The Warriors' offensive catalyst was named the Player of the Year by Cal Pac coaches after putting together a stellar season at the plate.  Morgan topped conference batters Runs Batted In (49), Home Runs (14), and Slugging Percentage (.703).  For the season, he hit .342 and scored 40 runs in 46 games.

Three SU players received individual awards this Spring:  Junior right-hander Gage Hoyle was named Pitcher of the Year, Dylan Leek was voted the Defender of the Year, and Isaiah Alcala was tabbed as the Freshman of the Year.  Hoyle led the Cal Pac in wins this season, going 7-1 in eight decisions, totaling a league-best 64.1 innings pitched and finished with 57 strike outs against only 17 walks.  Leek committed only two errors in 35 games, fashioning a .984 fielding percentage as the Red Hawks' centerfielder.  Alcala turned in a solid first season with SU, batting .292 and stealing 15 bases in 18 attempts.

Landon Raskin of Providence Christian was selected as the Newcomer of the Year.  The junior outfielder hit .347 on the season, belting eight home runs and Cal Pac best 17 doubles.  He also scored 43 runs in 39 games and stole 11 out of 11 bases.

SU head coach Dan Tating was selected by his peers as the conference's top coach after leading the Red Hawks to their first Cal Pac title.

La Sierra junior outfielder Bobby Benavidez is the only 2025 All-Cal Pac member to receive recognition in previous seasons.  The junior outfielder was also an all-conference pick in 2023, when he was named the Freshman of the Year.
