Westcliff Women Can Clinch Cal Pac Title

Heading into the final matches of the next-to-last week of the soccer regular season, Westcliff can clinch the Cal Pac regular season women's soccer title with a victory over last-place Cal Maritime on Sunday, Oct. 26.

 The Warriors (6-0, 13-1-1 overall) have 18 standings points and are ahead of second place Simpson (4-1-1, 13 points). Westcliff, has outscored their Cal Pac foes 33-1 through six league matches including a dominant 10-0 win over Cal Maritime in their previous meeting up north. WU is on a 14-match unbeaten string (13-0-1) in regular season Cal Pac play dating back to the 2023 season.

 Westcliff, Simpson, and Stanton have secured three of the four spots in the conference tournament…and a WU win would knock the Keelhaulers out of contention and give the final playoff berth to Pacific Union. Final seedings will depend on the last week of play, and the schedule for the combined men's & women's championship – played Nov. 9 & 11 in Santa Ana – will be released once the matchups are finalized.
