USK, BENU Open NAIA Run On Saturday
Saint Katherine and Benedictine Mesa begin their NAIA Championship journey this Saturday, Nov. 18. The Firebirds, ranked No. 17 in the NAIA, won the California Pacific Conference regular season title and earned a home match in the Opening Round against Rocky Mountain (Mont.) at 7:00 p.m. The Redhawks, the Cal Pac Championship Tournament winner, will be on the road at Vanguard in Costa Mesa, Calif.
After NAIA Championship Opening Rounds, the action at the final site inside the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa, starts with three days of pool play from Nov. 29 – Dec. 1. The top team of each pool will advance to the elimination bracket, starting with the quarterfinals, on Saturday, Dec. 2. The semifinals will be played on Monday, Dec. 4, and the national champion will be crowned Tuesday, Dec. 5, with the first serve set for 7 p.m. CST on ESPN3.
