
The NAIA honored six California Pacific Conference student athletes, including three that made the conference's all-conference team, by placing them on the 2011 NAIA Cross Country Scholar Athletes List.

Holy Names University and William Jessup University placed four runners on the men's and women's cross country teams combined to headline the California Pacific Conference cross country all-conference teams, Commissioner Don Ott announced today.

Simpson University won the women's team competition and William Jessup won the men's team competition in today's California Pacific Conference Cross Country Championships held in Angwin. The team championship for Simpson marks their first championship in women's cross country while for William Jessup, their win marks the first time since 2008 that they have won the championship.

Holy Names University junior Agnes Silvestro had four top 20 finishes and was selected as the California Pacific Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Month for the month of October.

William Jessup University senior Kimberly Spencer finished 25th in the Mills Invitational and was selected as the California Pacific Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
