Tyson Lynn, of Sarasota, Florida, has signed with the William Jessup University men's golf team for the 2009-2010 season.  Lynn is a transfer out of Louisburg College in North Carolina.

On Monday, the Holy Names University Hawks clinched the 2008-2009 California Pacific Conference men's golf championship. The Hawks came in second to CSU East Bay but still won the overall championship by six points over the Pioneers. The California Pacific Conference golf tournaments were applied a point system this season with first place taking ten points, second place taking seven points, third place taking five points, fourth place taking four points, fifth place taking three points, sixth place taking two points and last place taking one point, respectively.

In rating #4 of the NAIA national men's golf rankings, two California Pacific Conference schools moved up the list - #12 Holy Names from #13 and #19 CSU East Bay from #20.
