Holy Names University softball coach, Melanie Gregor, released her recruiting class for the 2010 season. The defending California Pacific Conference champions recruited three junior transfers and eight freshman.

While the William Jessup University softball team is getting ready for their inaugural season in February, William Jessup head coach Jessica Pistole has an eye on next season as well. Pistole recently announced the first signing of the 2010-2011 class with Brieanna Stone from softball powerhouse Elk Grove High School.

William Jessup University announced the signings of eight players for the inaugural season of softball on campus.  The signees include three pitchers, two corner infielders, and two outfield prospects.

Three California Pacific Conference student-athletes were named to the Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association NAIA All-West Region First Team. Menlo College had two players named to the team - designated player Courtney Emry and second baseman Alisha Vegas - and California Pacific Conference champion Holy Names University placed one player - pitcher Stephanie Fairclough.
