CSU East Bay guard/forward Fabien Baker was selected as the California Pacific Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the dates of December 8^th through 15^th, 2008.

The junior from Oakland, California native averaged 17.5 points and 8 rebounds a game as the Pioneers went 2-0 this past weekend in California Pacific Conference play. The Pioneers beat Holy Names University 92-70 on Friday in Hayward and beat Simpson University 88-55 on Saturday in Redding.

CSU East Bay continues their California Pacific Conference schedule Saturday as they take on William Jessup University in Hayward at 3pm. Bring a new and unwrapped toy and receive free admission to the Pioneers' doubleheader against William Jessup.
