In an announcement this afternoon from their office in Kansas City, Kansas, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) named California Pacific Conference Player of the Year Alex Palomarez to the 2011 NSCAA/Continental Tire Men's NAIA All-America Third Team.

Palomarez is the only conference representative on the list. He joins thirty two other student athletes on the list from around the NAIA. Bethel College Hastings College, the University of Mobile and the University of Rio Grande had the most representatives on the team at three apiece. The honorees will receive their awards on January 14^th at the organization's national convention in Kansas City.
