Pacific Union College freshman forward Devin Tinney was selected as the California Pacific Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the dates of October 27^th through November 3^rd, 2008.

Tinney averaged 15 points and 6.5 rebounds in a 0-2 weekend for the Pioneers as the Pioneers played defending Cascade Collegiate Conference champions Southern Oregon University and Oregon Institute of Technology

Pacific Union College continues their season Saturday as they play California Baptist University in Riverside.
