Dominican University junior guard/forward Ari Iventosch was selected as the California Pacific Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the dates of October 27^th through November 3^rd, 2008.

The Weimar, California native averaged 17.5 points, 5 rebounds and 3.5 assists for the Penguins in an 1-1 weekend. The Penguins won Friday night 75-67 over Hope International University and lost Saturday to NAIA Division I #5 California Baptist University 87-79. Both games were at the CBU Classic in Riverside.
