Simpson University senior Micah Eppler had three top eleven finishes during the fall season and was selected as the inaugural California Pacific Conference Golfer of the Week for the dates of January 3^rd through 10^th, 2011. This week's award covers the entire season up until January 10^th.

A native of Alturas, California, Eppler finished in the top eleven three times in the RedHawks first four tournaments. He finished 7^th with an even par (216) at the Cavalier Classic in Portland, finished tied for 4^th with a +1 (214) at the Holy Names Fall Invitational in North Alameda, which was the first of the California Pacific Conference conference matches for the season, and finished tied for 11^th with +11 (227) at the NCCAA National Tournament in Panama City Beach, Florida. Eppler also finished tied for 38^th with a +22 (238) at the Mustang Invitational in Santa Clarita.

The next tournament that the RedHawks will be participating in is the William Jessup Invitational. This event will be held February 20^th at The Ridge Golf Club in Auburn.
