Simpson University sophomore Courtney Opie was selected as the California Pacific Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the dates of October 20^th through 27^th, 2008.

The Sonora, California native had a goal in the RedHawks' 2-0 win over Mills College in Redding last Wednesday and had three goals in the RedHawks' 4-1 victory against Holy Names University in Redding on Saturday.
