Dominican University sophomore goalkeeper Alicia Paulsen was selected as the California Pacific Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the dates of October 13^th through 20^th, 2008.

The Santa Rosa, California native secured two shutout victories for Penguins as they beat Simpson University 4-0 in Redding on Tuesday and Holy Names University 2-0 on Saturday. Paulsen now has four shutouts on the year, with three of those coming in the last three games.

Dominican University continues their conference season Saturday October 25^th as they take on Mills College in San Rafael.
