Mills College cross country runner Chrissy Mills ran a 23:21 at the Sonoma State Invitational and was selected as the California Pacific Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

The Ventura, California native finished 32^nd out of a field of 40 runners. She finished a full six minutes faster than her previous finish at the Pacific Union Invitational. The Cylones finished third in the team competition finishing sixty-four points behind first place Sonoma State University.
