Holy Names University junior Samantha Miller was selected as the California Pacific Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for the dates of August 23^rd through 29^th, 2010.

The San Mateo, California native had 30 kills, 2 assists and 32 digs in a 1-0 weekend for the Hawks. The Hawks had an exhibition 3-1 loss to CSU Stanislaus Friday night in Oakland and won 3-1 over Oregon Institute of Technology in Oakland on Sunday.
