The NAIA today released its annual list of NAIA Scholar Teams. 857 teams made the national list and twelve belong to the California Pacific Conference.
Represented on this year's list are four regular season champions and two runner-ups. The teams that made this year's list are Bethany University's volleyball team, the men's golf, women's soccer and women's basketball teams from Holy Names University, the men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams from Menlo College and the cross country, soccer, volleyball, swimming and outdoor track and field teams from Mills College. California Pacific Conference commissioner Don Ott said about today's release, "The Cal Pac institutions are committed to excellence in education, and the NAIA's recognition of the academic successes of these teams is testament to our conference's mission.
