Holy Names University women's basketball coach Steve Spencer announced the signing of Renique Fitzpatrick for the 2010-2011 season.
Fitzpatrick, a graduate of Armijo High School in Fairfield, California, averaged an impressive 13.3 points, 12.4 rebounds, 4.7 blocks and 3.7 steals a game, leading the Monticello Empire League in rebounds, blocks and steals and finished 4th in scoring. She was a First Team All-MEL selection and helped the Indians to a 19-8 record and a 4th place finish.
Hawks head coach Steve Spencer said about Fitzpatrick, "With Renique we are adding a key element that we needed. She has good size, great hands, tremendous athleticism and length. We are very excited she decided to become a Hawk.
