William Jessup University guard Austin Nelson was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court.

Nelson, a native of Placerville, California, is a business major that has been a major part of the success the Warriors team on and off the court over the last three years. He led the Warriors in 3-point shooting percentage at 40.8 percent.
In order to qualify for the Honors Court, a player must have achieved at least a 3.2 grade point average for the academic year, and be a junior or senior.
One of the most prestigious academic honors in all of collegiate athletics, the NABC Honors Court recognizes the talents and gifts that men's basketball players across the country possess off the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom.
