In 2009, she helped her team to the finals in the Spring Far West League, the Cal South National Cup and San Diego Surf Cup. The Eagles were also a Region IV semifinalist. Coach Lusson said about Pleasant, "India will be an excellent addition to our team. We believe that her combination of technical skills, athleticism, and big-game playing experience puts her in a position to make an immediate impact. Her playing experience for a nationally-recognized program like the Eagles SC will certainly help to raise the standard for the Hawks program."

The second recruit is Kayla Kaleiohi, who comes to Holy Names from San Diego, California where she played for Sycamore Academy High School. She also played for the Albion SC Club Team as a center midfielder. As a player she helped her team win the United States Youth Soccer Association regional two years in a row, was the Albion Cup Champions in 2008 and 2009 and was a finalist for the National Cup in 2007. Coach Lusson said about Kaleiohi, "Kayla's work rate and toughness as a midfielder will be a huge asset to our team. She comes from an excellent club program and has the tactical awareness and on-field leadership skills to be a very promising collegiate center-mid.

The third recruit is Lina Lovgren, a defender/midfielder from Boras, Sweden who played at Backangsgymnasiet High School. She also played for the Byttorp IF First Division Soccer Club.  Lovgren has participated in three different camps with the Swedish Youth National Team and is currently attending the National Soccer academy. Lusson said about Lovgren, "Lina comes to us from the same top notch player development program that brought Linda Wik Fors to our team last season. We expect big things from her in her ability to be a technically gifted flank player, working in both the attack and defense. She comes highly recommended from her coaches and her playing experience in the First Division in Sweden and with the youth national team will be extremely valuable."

The fourth recruit for the Hawks is Kassy Angel who played for Grace Davis High School and the Heat of U-18 BFUT Academy, as a midfielder/forward. Angel helped her teams to the CYSA-North State Cup Semifinals, the Ajax Winter Invitational semifinals, and were named Nomads Thanksgiving Champions and Hannah Welker Memorial Champions. Angel was also a two-year captain for Spartans and a three-time Modesto Metro Conference All-League player. Coach Lusson said about Angel, "Kasey is a dynamic attacking mid that will certainly help this year. She's a playmaker that combines excellent technical ball skills with field vision and a possession-oriented style of play."

The fifth and final recruit, Ayana "BB" Brumfield, was a goalkeeper for San Lorenzo High School but attended the East Bay Art School of Hayward and also played for the Castro Valley United U-19. Ayana was a Hayward Area Athletic League All-League Second Team member as a junior and made the First Team as a senior. She recorded 13 shutouts in her recent U-19 season leading her team to a 16-4-3 record and a second place finish. Coach Lusson said about Brumfield, "Ayana is an extremely gifted athlete that combines the ideal size and physical build with the quickness and agility to become a top-notch goalkeeper. She has a real passion for the sport and her work ethic and positive attitude will certainly add a lot."

Lusson said about his five new recruits, "The best part about it is that we're returning so much of our team. We have high expectations for ourselves. With the addition of our new recruits to the mix, the competitiveness in practice will be through the roof, making this a tough team to play for."
