Scouting the Tigers: The Tigers finished first in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference and finished the year nineteenth in the national rankings. This is Olivet Nazarene's sixth trip to the National Tournament.
Scouting the Hawks: Holy Names won the NAIA West Region Championship this season sending the Hawks to Decatur. This is the second time that the Hawks have been to the National Tournament.

Getting To Know Olivet Nazarene University: Olivet started in 1907 as a grammar school in Georgetown, Illinois. In 1909, it was converted in a college called Illinois Holiness University. In 1921, it was renamed to Olivet College. In 1939, a fire destroyed the campus moving the campus to its permanent home in Bourbonnais, Illinois. In 1986, the college changed its name to Olivet Nazarene University.
About The Coaches:
Coach Melanie Gregor is in her 2nd season as head coach of the Hawks. She has a 71-64 record as head coach of the Hawks. She was head coach and physical education teacher at Contra Costa College from 2003-2007 and the head women's varsity volleyball coach at the Athenian School in Danville from 2003-2007.
Coach Ritchie Richardson is in his 16th season as head coach of the Tigers. He has a 685-256 record as head coach of the Tigers. During his stint, Richardson has guided the Tigers to eight CCAC Regular Season Title and nine CCAC Tournament Championships. He was inducted into the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference's Hall-of-Fame in October, 2005.
