William Jessup University head women's soccer coach Jamie Howard recently announced the signing of Katie Rappazzo.

Rappazzo, a Mission Hills, California native, joins the Warriors after an outstanding career at Moorpark College. In her first season at Moorpark College, Rappazzo was ranked as the number five goalie in the state and was voted most valuable player by her teammates. This past season, she helped guide her team to the Western State Conference Championship with a 23-3-1 record. She earned first team all-conference honors and was named best defensive player by her team. Katie attended Bishop Alemany High School where she played four years on the varsity team.

Rappazzo said, "William Jessup offers a great college experience. The coaches, players, staff, and students are great people who care about you as a person. Howard said about Rappazzo, "Katie is a great addition to our soccer family. Her experience at the junior college level will help her make an immediate contribution."
