William Jessup University head men's basketball coach Aaron Muhic announced the signing of Anthony Anderson.

Anderson, a 6-7 wing, joins the Warriors after a successful stint at Sierra College in Rocklin. He averaged 10 points, 4 rebounds and shot 43% from the three point line. In his best game as a Wolverine, Anderson hit 10 of 14 three pointers to seal a victory.

"There are a lot of great opportunities not only on the court at William Jessup, but off the court as well," stated Anderson. "Anytime you get to become involved in a program that has the opportunity to reach out to others in the community and abroad, you've got to jump on it. I'm looking forward to growing as an athlete, a teammate, a student, and most importantly, as a person during my time at William Jessup. William Jessup is the perfect fit and I look forward to playing close to family and friends as well."

The Roseville, California native had a standout career at Granite Bay High School as a three year varsity player. In his senior season, he led Granite Bay to the Sierra Foothill League Championship with an overall record of 23-5. He averaged 10 points, 5 rebounds and shot 41% from the three point arc in his final season.

As a sophomore, Anderson earned Third Team All-Metro honors. He also earned First Team All-Sierra Foothill league honors his senior year. The Sacramento Bee named Anderson to the All-Area third team in his final season.

Coach Muhic is excited about the addition of Anderson, "We are excited that Anthony has chosen Jessup to continue his success as a student athlete. It is always exciting to get a very good player from our community."
