Bethany University volleyball head coach Reed Duffus has announced the hiring of Julie Meisner as an assistant volleyball coach. Meisner was previously a volunteer coach with the Bruins in 2008 and will begin her coaching duties in August.

Meisner said, "I'm really looking forward to working with the women's volleyball program at Bethany. We have a great group of student-athletes and I think we are going to experience a lot of growth in many areas this fall, and I am thrilled to be a part of that."

 A 2000 graduate of Bethany, Meisner earned four letters and was a four-time California Pacific Conference all conference first team selection playing both outside hitter and middle blocker. In 2009, Meisner became the second former Bruin volleyball athlete inducted into the Bethany University Athletic Hall of Fame.
