William Jessup University cross country coach Parker Daniels announces the signing of standout runner Alyssa Amack to the 2010-2011 cross country team.

"I am excited that Alyssa has chosen to join the William Jessup cross country and track teams," stated coach Daniels. "Alyssa will make an immediate impact in our program and has the determination to become highly successful for the Warriors."

Alyssa, a native of Highland Ranch, Colorado, will come to William Jessup after an outstanding career at Thunder Ridge High School. She won the Iron Runner Award and won Colorado High School Activities Association championships as a member of the 4 x 400 meter team as a sophomore and the 4 X 200 meter team as a junior. Along with competing on the cross country team in the fall, she will compete in the 400 meter, 200 meter and 100 meets for the track team in the spring.

Amack stated, "William Jessup offered the whole package for me. I will be able to continue to live out my passions of running and serving the Lord. The staff, students and athletes were incredible on my visit and there is a great feel for community on campus. I am so excited and blessed to be a part of the cross country and track team."
