Besseghini, a native of Dixon, California, pitched 7 innings giving up 2 hits in her lone start on the week, a 5-0 shutout win over Holy Names University in California Pacific Conference play. The Warriors split the doubleheader with Hawks in Rocklin on Saturday, losing the first game 2-0 and winning the second game 5-0.
