Holy Names University third baseman Jessica Merriam was selected as the California Pacific Conference Softball Player of the Week for the dates of April 5^th through 11^th, 2010.

Merriam, a native of Modesto, California, went 6-11 at the plate with a triple, 3 RBI's, 2 walks and 1 run scored. The Hawks went 4-0 last week. The Hawks swept their California Pacific Conference doubleheader versus William Jessup University on Wednesday in San Leandro and then swept their doubleheader with Patten University in San Leandro on Saturday.
