William Jessup University pitcher Brianna Melgard was selected as the California Pacific Conference Softball Player of the Week for the dates of March 29^th through April 4^th, 2010.

Melgard, a native of Roseville, California, had pitched 22 2/3 innings allowing 24 hits, 9 runs, 7 of those earned, and 10 walks while striking out 9 as the Warriors went 2-6 on the week. The Warriors split their doubleheader with Vanguard University in Costa Mesa on Tuesday, were swept by NAIA #11 Concordia University of Irvine in Irvine on Wednesday, split with Hope International in Fullerton on Thursday, and were swept by NAIA #1 California Baptist University on Friday in Riverside.
