The William Jessup men and Holy Names women continue their basketball seasons in quest of an NAIA championship when both teams open national tournament play on Thursday, March 11. WJU (17-13) faces #4 seed Bellevue (Neb.) (25-7) at 12 Noon CST in Point Lookout, Mo. HNU (23-9) is the #6 seed in their bracket and face #3 Briar Cliff (IA) (25-7) at 7:00 p.m. CST in Sioux City, Iowa.This is the first NAIA tournament appearance for William Jessup, which finished in a three-way tie for the Cal Pac regular season title and triumphed over Menlo in the championship game of the conference's post-season tournament.

Holy Names returns to the women's event for the 11th time, having completed a perfect Cal Pac regular season and winning the tournament title.
