William Jessup University pitcher Kara Besseghini was selected as the California Pacific Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for the dates of February 15^th through 22^nd, 2010.

Besseghini, a native of Dixon, California, pitched 5 innings last week for the Warriors who went 1-1 on the week. Besseghini started for the Warriors in the second game of their doubleheader versus Academy of Art University. She gave eight hits and one run in the win.
