William Jessup University pitcher Kara Besseghini was selected as the California Pacific Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for the dates of February 15th through 22nd, 2010.
Besseghini, a native of Dixon, California, pitched 5 innings last week for the Warriors who went 1-1 on the week. Besseghini started for the Warriors in the second game of their doubleheader versus Academy of Art University. She gave eight hits and one run in the win.
William Jessup University will continue their schedule on Thursday as they take on Hope International University as a part of the 2010 SOU Invitational in Ashland.
