Simpson University forward Dominique Simmons was selected as the California Pacific Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the dates of February 15th through 22nd, 2010.
A native of Tacoma, Washington, Simmons averaged 14 points and 7 rebounds as the RedHawks went 2-0 on the week. The RedHawks won 62-32 over Bethany University on Thursday in Redding and won 66-55 over Menlo College in Redding on Saturday.
The RedHawks will participate in the 2010 California Pacific Conference Playoffs as they take on Pacific Union College in Redding on Wednesday.Cal Pac Sports
