Mills College junior Guadalupe Cazares was selected as the California Pacific Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Month for September.

The Ventura, California native had three top eleven finishes in three meets during the month of September. She finished 4^th out of 18 competitors not affiliated with an NCAA Division I or II school at the Reno Twilight Invitational, hosted by University of Nevada-Reno. She also finished 6^th out of 56 runners at the Beaver Invitational, hosted by Sacramento City College and 11^th out of 80 runners at her home event, the Mills Invitational in Oakland.

Mills College continues their season October 18^th as they run in the Warner Pacific Invitational in Portland.
