Simpson University infielder Corinne Alexander was selected as the California Pacific Conference Softball Player of the Week for the dates of February 2^nd through 8^th, 2010.

Alexander, a native of Lodi, California, went 3-for-7 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI's in a 2-1 week for the RedHawks. The RedHawks won 8-0 over University of British Columbia and lost 8-2 to NAIA #1 California Baptist University on Thursday. On Friday, Simpson beat Bethany University 2-1 and beat University of British Columbia 7-6. All of the RedHawks' games were a part of the Lancers Invitational in Riverside.
