Simpson University center Dominique Simmons was selected as the California Pacific Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the dates of January 18th through 25th, 2010.
A native of Tacoma, Washington, Simmons averaged a double-double with 15.5 points and 10 rebounds as the RedHawks went 1-1. The RedHawks lost 59-54 to CSU Maritime on Thursday in Redding and won 76-48 over Bethany University in Scotts Valley on Saturday.
The RedHawks will continue their 2009-2010 California Pacific Conference schedule Thursday as they take on Menlo College in Atherton.Cal Pac Sports
