Dominican University freshman Julianna Bratsberg was selected as the California Pacific Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the dates of September 29^th through October 6^th, 2008.

The freshman recruit from Santa Rosa, California scored two goals in the Penguins 4-1 victory over William Jessup University on Saturday. The win pushed the Penguins into first place in the conference early in the newly adapted double round-robin schedule.
