In the first NAIA Division II women's basketball coaches poll, the Holy Names University Hawks were ranked by the coaches at #26, scoring 71 points. The Hawks finished last season 24-9 and 15-1 in California Pacific Conference play. Holy Names bowed out in the first round of the NAIA National Championships to Sterling College 92-73.
