Holy Names received six first places votes and 47 points in route to capturing the 2009-2010 California Pacific Conference women's basketball coaches poll. The Hawks took 47 out of a possible 196 points. 

In second was Menlo College with 41 points. The Oaks were the runner up in the California Pacific Conference playoffs last season. The other first place vote went to the CSU Maritime Academy Keelhaulers. The Keelhaulers went to the California Pacific Conference Final Four last season for the first time in the program's history.
