William Jessup University sophomore Lindsey Cesena was selected as the California Pacific Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the dates of October 5^th through 12^th, 2009.

The El Dorado Hills, California native contributed defensively only giving up one goal and had one shutout in the Warriors' 2-0 week. Cesena also scored a goal on Saturday versus Bethany University in Roseville. The Warriors beat Mills College 5-1 on Wednesday in Oakland and won 10-0 over Bethany on Saturday in Roseville.

The Warriors continues their 2009 California Pacific Conference schedule Tuesday as they take on Menlo College in Roseville.
