The William Jessup University softball program announced the signing of four collegiate transfers. Cassie Emerson, Alexandra Franco, Audrea Lopez and Nayeli Mayer are four transfers expected to make an immediate impact.
"These players bring the solid performance level and skill set necessary to round out our team," explained Warriors head coach Jessica Pistole. "To have these players on board to begin our practice season next week will solidify our ability to work as a cohesive unit on the field."
Emeron, a transfer student from NCAA Division I St. Francis University, was a freshman who started at second base and batted .350. At Lincoln High School, Emerson was a standout player, earning a Pioneer All League and Scholar Athlete selection.

Lopez transferred from Ohlone College where she earned second team all conference honors and assisted the team in qualifying for the 2009 state playoffs.
Mayer, the fourth transfer, joins the Warriors after a stand out career at American River College. As a utility player for the Beavers, she earned honorable mention all-conference honors.
