William Jessup University sophomore Jennifer McNamara was selected as the California Pacific Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for the dates of August 24^th through 30^th, 2009.

The Reedley, California native had 56 kills, 9 aces, 19 digs and 6 blocks in a 3-1 weekend for the Warriors, who won the Bruins Challenge in Scotts Valley. On Friday, the Warriors beat Northwest Christian University 3-0 and lost to Southwestern College 3-2. On Saturday, the Warriors beat the host team, Bethany University, 3-1 and beat Southwestern College 3-2 to clinch the tournament title.
