Three California Pacific Conference student-athletes were named to the Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association NAIA All-West Region First Team. Menlo College had two players named to the team - designated player Courtney Emry and second baseman Alisha Vegas - and California Pacific Conference champion Holy Names University placed one player - pitcher Stephanie Fairclough.
Emry, Vegas and Fairclough were joined on the list by some talented players. The team includes six players from the NAIA National Champion California Baptist University, four players from Point Loma Nazarene University, who came in second in the Golden State Athletic Conference, two from Simon Fraser University and one from Oregon Institute of Technology.
