This Week: The Hawks drew McKendree University as the third and final game in Pool D play. The first pitch is scheduled for 2:30 pm (PDT) on Saturday.

Scouting the Sea Lions: The Bearcats won the American Midwest Conference tournament championship, after finishing third in the regular season standings. 

Scouting the Hawks: Holy Names won the California Pacific Conference regular season championship this season automatically sending the Hawks to Decatur. This is the first time that the Hawks have been to the National Tournament. 

Last Time Out: This is the first meeting between the two schools this season.

National Appearances: This is Holy Names' first trip to the National Tournament. McKendree has had three trips recording a record of 7-6.

Getting To Know McKendree University: McKendree University is private liberal arts college that is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. It was founded in 1828 as the Lebanon Seminary and is the oldest collge in Illinois.

Coach Melanie Gregor is in her 2^nd season as head coach of the Hawks. She has a 44-41 record as head coach of the Hawks. She was head coach and physical education teach at Contra Costa College from 2003-2007 and the head women's varsity volleyball coach at the Athenian School in Danville from 2003-2007.
