Tyson Lynn, of Sarasota, Florida, has signed with the William Jessup University men's golf team for the 2009-2010 season.  Lynn is a transfer out of Louisburg College in North Carolina.

Tyson shot an average score of 75 his sophomore year at Louisburg, where he was the team captain and maintained a stellar 3.4 GPA.  An honor roll member, he was recognized as a "who's who in America" standout, as well as being a second team All-American for LC.  Lynn placed 7th in the 2008 NJCAA National Championships.

"WJU is a great up and coming program, with a really positive atmosphere on campus.  The quality of coaching, with Coach Stewart and Coach Gandy, also played a big role in my decision.  Jessup is the best fit for me spiritually, athletically, and academically," Lynn said.
