Head women's basketball coach Derrick Pringle, Jr. announced the signing of 5-8 wing Kylie Shaw for the 2009-2010 season. Kylie played two years at Yakima Valley Community College in Yakima, Washington. Kylie helped led the Yaks to a 51-13 record over the past two years and 14-0 record in the NWAACC Eastern Region this past season. She averaged 5.29 ppg and 3.46 rpg this past season.

Coach Pringle comments: "Kylie comes from a winning program and great coaching at Yakima Valley. She is a proven winner at both the high school and college level. Kylie is a versatile player that can play all five positions. We are extremely excited and blessed to have her as a part of our program. I think she will excel in our system and be a tremendous player here at Simpson."
