Menlo College first baseman/outfielder Megan Finney was selected as the California Pacific Conference Softball Player of the Week for the dates of April 6^th through 13^th, 2009.

Finney, a native of San Jose, California, went four for eleven at the plate with four runs scored and 2 doubles. Finney's Oaks went 1-3 last week. The Oaks split a doubleheader with NCAA Division II Pacific West Conference member Academy of Art University on Wednesday in Atherton and then lost both game in a doubleheader with NAIA #1 California Baptist University on Friday in Atherton.
