In rating #2 of the NAIA men's golf rankings, two conference schools made the last; one that has been climbing the rankings for several weeks and one who jumped onto the list for the first time this season.

At #14, the Holy Names University Hawks continued their climb up the ranks. The Hawks moved up from #19 to #14 in light of their previous tournament victories, including the Menlo Invitational last week. The Hawks trail Texas Wesleyan University by two points for the #13 spot. The Rams stayed put at #13 from the last poll, which was taken on March 27th. The Hawks lead Golden State Athletic Conference favorite Point Loma Nazarene University by 13 points.

New to the top 25 was the CSU East Bay Pioneers. After receiving votes in the March 27th poll, the Pioneers jumped all the way to #21 in the nation. CSU East Bay came in 4th at the Menlo Invitational, but has scored well in team play in the month of March, scoring a 4th place finish at the California Baptist Spring Invitational in Mesquite, Nevada and an 8th out of 15th place finish at the Notre Dame De Namur Invitational in Belmont.  The Pioneers trail #20 Saint Ambrose University by fifty-nine points in the latest poll. The Fight Bees stayed put at #20 this past week. Trailing the Pioneers are the Dakota Wesleyan University Tigers, who stayed at #22.
