In a vote of the California Pacific Conference's women's cross country coaches, CSU East Bay gathered 43 out of a possible 182 points, which included five first place votes, to become the coaches pick to win the California Pacific Conference. Last year, the Pioneers won the overall team competition with 57 points while William Jessup's Amanda Gillming won the individual race. In the poll, William Jessup came in 2nd and Mills came in 3rd.
