CSU East Bay is favored to repeat as the men's cross country champions in 2009 according to a vote of the league's head coaches.
The Pioneers garnered three first place votes and topped the balloting with 36 points, surpassing Holy Names as the preseason favorite. CSU East Bay will defend their title - and attempt to prove the coaches right - at the Cal Pac championships hosted by on Friday, November 7th
